Issie and the Mod Partee

You all been waiting a long time for this story...

Strolling down Seers High Street one fine morning - out for some menial task like fletching most probably - i became startlingly aware of a vociferous commotion coming from the Partee Hall. This being an uncrowded and unusually empty world i found the idea of so many people getting there merely by chance strange, so i went on in...

Here commenceth my account of the MOD PARTEE!!!

There were Mods flying everywhere! Wherever i looked lvl 120+'s prowled!!!

Jagex Mods dashed among the hordes of ordinary Player Mods drinking, dancing, telling jokes and enduring me trying to hit them with a rubber chicken...

(Note to self - Can't hit Staff Mods.)

Of course Mod Niall may have had a little too much to drink and couldn't help boasting but a little of the Jagex facilities...

Anyway, things were going well with everyone happily admiring the dancing knights on the table -

Player Mods shoved and pushed to engraciate themselves with Niall and the other Jagex Mods.

Things were going fine until Mod Mark R turned up - then it got nasty...

Here followed a drunken brawl between the two Jagex Mods over support of Blackburn Rovers or Wales, each out insulting the other. On one side of the hall about 20 Player Mods stood aside Niall while on the other roughly the same number stood supporting Mod Mark R.

This was the point that i (as the only ordinary player) got to play my role...

I suggested very politely to Mod Niall and Mod Mark that they equip both their teams of mods with Rubber Chickens for a big battle!!!

And so they did, hundreds of bloodthirsty Mods swung hefty rubber chickens at one another while a humble player such as i could do nothing more than stand by and watch the proceedings - taking the occassional pot-shot at a Mod with my rubber chicken!

Eventually all the kerfuffle ended with Mod Mark R conceeding defeat and going out with a bang (literally).

Several pints later even Niall had to go...

And i returned to my everyday fletching activities - now fully aware of what these so called 'Mods' got up to in their spare time... I wonder... Were you invited Luc?
